Weekend de repos : Weekend of rest

Bonjour mes amis (hello my friends)

This last weekend even though it was long, Pace & I stayed local. We rested. Pace has 2 confrences this week, so he did a little work also. I got Pace to the gym for a slightly easier class this time. It still was hard. The biggest thing we did this weekend was to buy a couch, a small kitchen table & chairs and put together the armoire. I am so happy that we finally have some household furniture. The couch arrives this Thursday. I went to the doctor today to get my prescriptions refilled. I found a doctor who grew up in Queens (Thank God). He was great, but I have to have my blood workup done to check my thyroid levels. Things are okay here. The weather has finally gotten warm & clear. It is beautiful everyday. Warm, even hot, in the sun yet cool in the shade. Noname has even gone out on the window ledge in the kitchen I am going to get Jamie a Birthday gift tomorrow, but I don’t think it will get there in time. I’m sure at 3; she’ll have enough on her Bday to not miss it. She’ll probably enjoy the gift later anyhow.
So that’s it for now. We’ll get to Italy soon enough and tell you our adventures there

a prochaine fois (until next time)
Maria

Hey Ria, seems to me you're living in a beautiful area. Everyone in the Noblett house misses you and can't wait to see you for the holidays. You've got me inspired to travel; I'm going to hand in my passport application Friday! We miss you and love you!

I can't wait to hear how you like Italy...a lot of my friends have been there and they all love it. And, actually, they didn't go to Milan, so it will be nice hearing more about Italy.

    Tout le monde t'aiment!

    Bonjour Aunt Ria,
I miss you. Aunt Sue, Holly, and Christina are here. On the day they came we stayed up till like 2:00 and then I said we should go to Kroger and get a cake. Then we went to see if Dub would go into Kroger with us. Mom said she probably wouldn't. I said what if Dub was out smoking a ciggarete, and she was! At 2:30 we picked up a chocolate pudding cake. When Aunt Sue got here we stayed up to 5:00. We now own Eight Below, but I haven't seen the whole movie.

    aurevoir, Katie:)
